There are some sites on the Web that I come across and just say, "Wow", this is something special. . .well. . .why keep it all to myself! Here's some of my favorites!!!
Phil Plait's "Bad Astronomy" web site - This guy takes tackles head-on a large number of blatant scientific errors, hoaxes, and myths created and promulgated by "pseudoscientists", the media, Hollywood, and various other sources. Not only does he thoroughly debunk a lot of the garbage out there, but he spins "bad astronomy" into lessons in "good astronomy" and good science in general. This is hands down the most fantastic, interesting, and downright entertaining web site that I've ever come across. . .seriously. Think the Apollo missions were hoaxes perpetrated by NASA and the U.S government? Think again. . .emphasis on think!
